From the very beginning we have understood the need for bra sized swimwear. Customers would come in looking to buy a D cup bikini and would up buy a swim top several sizes bigger than they needed just to get the coverage. But wearing a size large top when you are really a size small around the rib cage was a bad compromise. Our bigger breasted customers were not getting the support they needed and they were not comfortable.
So we set out to find swim companies that made bra sized swimwear.
It was tough at first, most companies only made their suits in S-M-L. But we found some and kept looking. And our ability to accommodate all bra sizes kept growing.
Today we carry over 17 brands that make bra sized swimwear in cup sizes from A to H.
Here are the three of our best bra sized swimsuit brands:
Fantasie – our first bra sized swimwear
Not only was Fantasie the first bra sized swim brand we carried, but they were also the first brand to start the trend.
Based out of the UK, Fantasie was founded in 1951 as a bra company. They later brought that same expertise to making swimwear.
Fantasie swimwear has the same support and high-quality as their bras. Their styles are simple and timeless. They often feature floral prints, basic solids and fun texture. They even have a range of swimwear named after Ottawa.
Their back-sizing ranges from 30-44 and their cup sizes go up to a JJ. Both the tops and bottoms are full coverage. These suits are perfect for any woman with a bigger bust looking for stylish, yet supportive, swimwear.
Freya – young bra sized bathing bikinis
The younger sister to Fantasie, Freya has the same quality and support but with a younger look. Founded in 1998 and based in the UK, Freya launched their bra sized swimwear line in 2002.
Freya combines fashion and support to create suits that can be worn for beach activity or lounging by the pool. Their suits have vibrant patterns, colours, and textures as well as a wide range of coverage options.
Freya bra sized swimwear is designed to celebrate women of all sizes. Their bands start at a 28 with cups up to a J so you can be sure to find your size. Many suits also include underwires and padded cups for extra support. Freya one pieces are perfect if you have a short torso.
If you love Freya bras, and are looking for a more affordable bra-sized swimsuit, Freya is the perfect brand for you.
PrimaDonna – great fit, great support
PrimaDonna’s bra sized swimwear has the same amazing quality and support as their bras. They were founded back in 1865 in Germany, where they made corsets. They later moved to making bras for full busted women. Today, every Prima Donna piece is designed in Belgium.
PrimaDonna is defined by the superior quality of their bras. When they started making swimwear in 2013, they brought that same quality to their suits. Every piece focuses on fit, comfort and fashion.
PrimaDonna’s motto, “Ode to Curves,” says everything about them. Their swimwear is designed to compliment the shape of your body and boost your confidence. Their suits are mostly simple prints, basic solids and fun textures. They’re perfect for every occasion.
PrimaDonna knows how important it is to have a properly fitting swimsuit. They make cup sizes up to a J so that everyone can have a great swimsuit.
Marie Jo – great support from A cup up
Prima Donna introduced their sister company in 1981. Marie Jo has the same incredible support and quality as Prima Donna but is geared toward smaller busted women.
They have the same full coverage and mature prints as Prima Donna. Marie Jo makes bra sized swimwear in cup sizes from an A to D. Unlike Prima Donna, their cups tend to be shallow instead of full.
